Album Introduction

Bassist Choi Kwang-moon is back with his new album 'Splendor of Innocence'. This time, he is joined by alumni who majored in jazz instrument at his alma mater Queens College. Queens, even New York's most promising young jazz musicians, united around Choi Kwang-moon's steadfast walking. The multinational ensemble, consisting of Asians, shows more than expected outstanding performance in the home of jazz than those from other countries, and shows deep musicality faithful to the tradition of jazz than those of the same age as local jazz musicians. In particular, their skills and depth are evident in standard numbers such as "The Song Is You" with vocalist Yasuno Katsuki and "My Foolish Heart" where Choi Kwang-moon's own bass leads the melody himself.
